A peek inside the Palast’s workshops

Our workshops transform every show into a dazzling eye-catcher! Elaborate, bespoke stage costumes are created here under the direction of costume director Elisabetta Pian and often in close collaboration with leading designers. Every year we produce around 1,000 costumes, many of which come with lavish headpieces and matching shoes – and these are all carefully stored on over 300 metres of rails in our wardrobe.

Imagination and creativity meet genuine craftsmanship in the Palast workshops. Our talented costume designers work with delicate fabrics, glittering Swarovski crystals and extraordinary materials. Our make-up artists ensure perfectly polished appearances on stage, creating unforgettable looks with their skilful hair styles and make-up.
