Good Work!

Feeling good is priceless. We maintain a respectful tone in our teams and rely on cordial cooperation.

Our statement:
Respect Each Other

The stage history of the Palast stretches back to 1919, when it became the ‘Großes Schauspielhaus’. Our three founders – Max Reinhardt, Erik Charell and Hans Poelzig – later suffered under the Nazi dictatorship because they were of Jewish descent, homosexual or their architectural language was considered degenerate. In the Third Reich, we were the largest National Socialist propaganda theatre. Until 1990, the Palast was the GDR’s flagship entertainment theatre.

Against this backdrop, today we consciously stand for diversity, freedom and democracy. Democracy is far from perfect, but it is the only form of government that allows majorities and minorities their freedoms.
