A theatre’s management team is referred to as the General Direction. As a trio, we steer the fortunes of our theatre, with its more than a century of stage history, strategically and with vision.

Dr. Berndt Schmidt heads our team as Artistic Director and sole Managing Director. He is also closely involved in developing all of our Grand Shows and Young Shows as a producer.

At the Palast, we experience magical moments every single day that bring us and our audience together. As part of our team, you’ll help to make eyes sparkle and create memories that last a lifetime.

Our stage is not only the largest in the world, but also a place where respect, diversity and modern working practices are lived. From trainees to managers, we encourage an open, trust-based exchange at eye level.
